Karl Gotthilf Bischoff in Traveling Band Pictured in above photo on far right side - see enlarged photo of him at right. Gotthilf Bischoff was musically gifted and was able to play a variety of instruments including the piano, organ, and trumpet. Here he is seen in a band that played from one town to the next. His talent was also put to good use in the Methodist Church in Vaihingen where, in addition to playing music, he wrote hymns. (Photo taken somewhere in Germany. Circa 1920) |
